L.G. Equestrian Center
About Us
L.G. Equestrian Center LLC was started from the ground up in 1998. It started when Beverly Crowl graduated from Delaware Valley College with a 4-year large animal science degree and was looking for a job as a manager of a stable. That is when we, her parents, decided to help out and open a boarding stable on the family farm. We received 50 acres off the farm to stop buildign in August 1998. In April of 1999, we opened and got our first boarders in May, condinuing to fill out the 24-stall barn in a year. In 2007, we replaced our indoor footing with dust-free, and it is still doing great. At the same time, we did our 100'x210' outdoor with better sand footing. We grow our hay and have a local farmer who sells us straw out of the field so we don't have to go to hay sales all year and look for supplies. We do like to turn out at least 10 hours a day. Turn out is in small groups of 2 to 3, sometimes 4, in 2 to 3 acre lots. In the summer, turn out is at night. We have a heated and cooled tack room with a bathroom. We also have a hot and cold wash stall for the horses. We do like to keep it fun and safe for all at L.G. Equestrian Center LLC.
