Land's End Farm

About Us

Land's End Farm is a 600- acre, MDA certified, organic farm located in Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The Farm was established in the mid-1930s and has operated under family control since then. We have designed, implemented, and managed the conversion to organic methods and permaculture on the entire farm's acreage. Since 2000, we have successfully transitioned from conventional farming methods to 100% organic production, upgrading the facilities and equipment, diversifying the crops that we produce and harvest, researching and expanding the markets for organic crops, working with Chesapeake Fields Institute on identity-preserved, non-GMO crops. One half of the acreage is tillable ground and the remainder is split equally between mature, deciduous and coniferous forest and tidal marshland. All of the acreage is managed and certified as organic.
